HOW TO MAKE WIKIPEDIA ARTICLES FOR OFFLINE READING

hi friends this is arvind shah

this time i am going to explain the methods by which you can access your favorite Wikipedia articles without internet.

there may be three methods by which a Wikipedia article can be made for offline reading-

1. copy the article or save the article page(html page)- this is a known method for most of the peoples.

select the article and copy it in document(ms word) for future use (by this process quality of article get disturbed and and also difficult to read because of randomization of words in positioning).
'right click on article and select save as 'that will save this web page for further use (again this is irritating because again word position of article get randomized).

2. make a book of your wikipedia articles - that is beauty of Wikipedia services. it provides a tool by which you can make a free pdf book of your favorite Wikipedia articles . just follow these steps -

go to Wikipedia page and select "print/export " option at left middle and expand it .
then select any of the option " create a book "(to create a book of collection of article) or "download as pdf " (this option will save current article as pdf ).
then select "start pdf creator " here you will get options like "suggest page" and "add this page to your book".
after adding articles to your book now you can download a free pdf version or order a hard-copy of book with press of wiki(pedia press)

3. download a offline Wikipedia(with chrome)- yes friends another brilliant method to offline use of Wikipedia is following-

go to chrome webstore .
add this "offline wikipedia"application to chrome.
now launch this applicaiton.
here you have two option to select the wikipedia articles "a 13 MB article collection(only most famous articles) " and "1 GB article collection(around 50000 articles) ".
remember that 1 GB data will be saved on your PC as dump memory . it may be cause of dump memory error.(so download at your own risk).
